At PlacifyMe, we strive to create a smooth and transparent process for all our users. However, we understand that there may be instances where you might wish to cancel your payment. 1. Eligibility for Cancellation

To maintain the integrity of our platform and ensure fairness to all parties, cancellations are subject to the following conditions:

  • You are eligible for cancellation only if you have not applied for any job or gig on the platform.
  • Once you apply for a gig or job, it indicates your active participation, and the payment becomes final and non-refundable.
  • The cancellation request must be submitted within a reasonable time frame from the date of payment.

2. How to Request a Cancellation

If you meet the eligibility criteria and wish to cancel your payment, follow the steps below:

  • Contact our support team via the Contact Us page or by emailing us directly at contact@placifyme.com
  • Provide your payment details, such as the transaction ID, date of payment, and registered email address.
  • Mention the reason for cancellation and confirm that you have not applied to any job or gig on the platform.

3. Refund Process and GST Deductions

All approved cancellations are subject to an 18% deduction for GST. The remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

For example:

If you paid ₹100, the GST deduction will be ₹18, and you will receive a refund of ₹82.

Please note: The GST deduction is non-negotiable and applies to all cancellations as per government regulations.

4. Refund Timeline

We aim to process refunds as quickly as possible. Once your cancellation request is approved, the refund will be initiated within 7-10 business days.

The exact time frame for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your payment provider or bank. We will notify you via email once the refund is successfully processed.

5. Non-Refundable Scenarios

A refund will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • You have applied to one or more jobs or gigs on the platform.
  • The cancellation request does not meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
  • Any other situation that violates the terms and conditions of PlacifyMe.

  • The cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness and accountability for all our users, including merchants and gig seekers.
  • PlacifyMe reserves the right to deny any cancellation request if it does not comply with the terms outlined here.
  • By making a payment, you agree to this cancellation policy and the terms therein.
